A Review and a Clinical Case report on the soldering method of implant-supported prostheses

Abstract
Implant-supported prostheses provides stable and functional prosthesis to patients.
But, conventional long span one-piece casting induce misfit and unreliebility of
implant-supported prosthesis. Undesirable stress concentration, Gold screw loosening, Gold screw fracture, and improper tissue responses were founded to be related to framework misfit.
The major objective of fabricating prostheses supported by implant is the construction of superstructure that have a "accute, passive" fit when connected to multiple abutments or implants. So that passively fitting implant superstructure is produced consistantly, an understanding of the accuracy and precision of all phase of fabrication and connection is required, including of accute master cast fabrication and casting procedure and so on. Therefore, Reconnection method through framework cut off, indexing soldering process are needed. This article shows general soldering method and a clinical case report of Implant supported fixed prostheses. We hopes this article help understanding of soldering and fabricating of more delicate implant- supported prosthses.
